Half-Term in London
There’s so much to do in London over half-term you won’t know where to start! From interactive exhibitions, museums, parks, zoos and city farms, cinemas and theatres and plenty more! Here are just a few ideas for you but if there’s something specific you’re looking for, the brains of our fantastic front-of-house team led by Govinda are available to pick for inspiration!
Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London SW7
Europe’s most visited natural history museum is housed in one of London’s most iconic and impressive buildings and you’ll find literally millions of things to see including Hope, a 25-metre blue whale hanging from the ceiling, rocks as old as the solar system itself and one of the world’s most impressive dinosaur collections. And the best bit? It’s FREE to get in although some of the temporary exhibits are charged for.
Harrods, Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London SW1
Harrods is the most famous department store in the world and is known the world over for selling the finest products available anywhere! Seven floors and 330 departments of pure luxury await you and even if you’re not in the market for a pair of Stuart Weitzman ruby sandals for £1.2m, it’s an experience to behold!
Hyde Park, London W2
The largest of the four Royal Parks, Hyde Park is one of the world’s great city parks and you will quickly forget you’re in the middle of London. Look around and you’ll find 4,000 trees, a large lake, huge green spaces, stunning ornamental flower gardens, restaurants, fascinating buildings and monuments and the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain.
Victoria & Albert Museum, Cromwell Rd, London SW7
The V&A is the world’s greatest art and design museum and you’ll see artefacts dating back 3,000 years! Highlights include the Medieval Renaissance galleries containing some of the greatest surviving treasures from the period, the breath-taking jewellery gallery and the stunning British galleries, illustrating the history of Britain through the nation’s art and design.
This is just a taster of the activities that are happening in our corner of London over half-term but as we said, for other ideas all you have to do is ask!
Customer Service is King
Our aim is to enrich our guests’ lives by putting customer service right at the very top of our list of priorities (read the reviews on the Home page of the site to see what our guests say) and also to make your stay in London – whatever you’re up to – to be as positive as possible!
Even if we do say so ourselves, Govinda and his team are customer service experts and dare we say you won’t find better in London? Yes, we dare!
We offer a range of stunning apartments for groups of all sizes and you are close to everything you’ll need including excellent transport links, shops and restaurants for the whole family and we do it all in a very quiet, residential street that’s safe and pretty.
